This Arduino Night will cover using 4 wire touch screens. These are touch screens from some old Garmin GPS units that were cannibalized.
Everyone will need to have Python installed on their laptop in order to see a plot of the points from the touch pad. Additionally, you will need to have a file called graphics.py (link) installed in site-packages (C:\PythonXY\Lib\site-packages for Windows, /usr/local/lib/pythonX.Y/site-packages for Linux). You can simply copy the file from wherever you downloaded it to into the appropriate directory for your OS. If you have issues and would like help, please E-Mail arduino@unallocatedspace.org.

Since the space runs off of donations, we would like to mention that the recommended donation for this class is $5. It is by no means a requirement! Attendance to the space, and this class, is 100% free to all!
