We will cover how to use an operational amplifier to both amplify a signal, and add DC offset.  Then we will go over how to use a R2R ladder to convert digital to analog.  Finally we will combine both to have the Arduino sample audio using it’s A2D converter, and then spit it right back out through digital pins to an R2R ladder and ultimately play sound from a speaker.

Agenda
1. Operational Amplifiers (voltage feedback only)
2. Digital to Analog Conversion (R2R Ladder)
3. Sampling Audio With Arduino

Required Items
1. Laptop (Needs to have an audio jack)
2. Arduino (Any kind will do)
3. Breadboard
4. Jumper wires
5. USB cable for your Arduino

Provided Items
1. Operational Amplifier
2. Audio cable
3. Resistors (2K ohm)
4. Small speakers

If you need any items in the required items section, please E-Mail uas.arduino@gmail.com. We have a few of all of the required items, but we need to know how many to prepare.

Since the space runs off of donations, we would like to mention that the recommended donation for this class is $10. It is by no means a requirement! Attendance to the space, and this class, is 100% free to all!
